Meet Francine
Francine is about 11- 12 years old, Calico, spayed female. She came to us very obese and could not even walk, and she was so matted it took hours to shave her down. She was so neglected in her previous years. But NOW, Francine is doing very well, she has lost over 8 pounds and can groom herself, plus we help her along grooming her too. She is on a strict diet but it is to benefit her health. She has been diagnosed with a UTI with crystals. So she is now eating prescription food C/D dry food. She loves her wet food, so we give her fancy feast and W/D wet food AM and PM at feeding time. She does get some cat treats twice a week, a few pieces. Since Francine has lost the weight she now can play with cat toys, she jumps up on low cat beds, loves cat nip and rolls all around in it. She feels good but does have a little arthritis but she does ok. Francine tries so hard to over come her weight problem. She does a great job doing so !!
Francine's prescription C/D Dry food is about $30.00 a bag and her prescription W/D wet food for 8 cans is about $20.00 . If you donate the funds, we will buy all of her special food for Francine. This special food is good for her UTI problem, weight problem and her bowels.
